Hey Roberto - very cool project! I've been looking @ SLCs for a while. Even spoke w Fran @ SEMA. I originally found them here:

http://www.gt40s.com/forum/rcr-forum-rcr40-slc-p4-mkiv/

Anyway, I agree those valve covers need seme help next to that real CF intake. And I personally would not paint on fake CF next to the real deal. Pcoat satin black would look hardcore. Just my .02...

What tranaxle did you go with? Ford? With that much HP I'd not use the Porsche!

Oh, and don't listen to that Brent guy. He can't even order an intake properly...

Yeah, I see your point putting fake carbon fiber next to real carbon fiber. Satin black is looking like the option to take as I have some left over I used on the diffuser.

I went with the Ricardo transaxle out of the Ford GT with the Stillen twin disk. It holds more than double the power of my engine on the modded Ford GTs. It also has gear ratios designed for an American v8 that I like over the Porsche boxes for the street.

Beautiful car, post as many pictures of it as you want! I am looking at your link now.

One of the projects on my bucket list is an older body car with modern suspension, drivetrain, and amenities. Love it.

That suspension looks amazing. I am still trying to figure it out though, haha. How does the coil-over assembly get cycled? Do those arms pivot in/out under vertical tire motion or what?

I've had Cary's heads in 3 of my previous LS strokers and they all performed very well.

As mentioned previously I had waited on the Mozez heads (waited to even have Mast take the order with funds ready) for months. Erik was on the horn with Mast as well. Although Cary was on it, he could not take the order himself. I had to go through Mast. I am sure Mast is over that transition period now, but back then, it was a different situation.

When I decided to go the ls7 headed route, Erik told me he was comfortable with either WCCH or PI and had great results with both. I've seen Richard's work perform extremely well and having Erik's vote of confidence was more than I needed.

No doubt either ls7 head would work well.

1SlwLs1: Yes, there is an upright and a pivot arm articulating the coilovers. It makes for less unsprung weight. Looks cool too.

97% street car. HPDE days with the PDA, Viper/Corvette/Ferrari days if they allow me to join in.

I do plan on going to a track rental with my friends to see what it will mph (and get some logs for tuning). I'm not interested in killing it for the lowest ET though.

Is it just me, or does the pipe in the back of the last picture look like it necks down some (disclaimer - I doubt I could even attempt making my own headers, so more a question than a critique).

no worries. it does not neck down. it's a stepped header. 1.875" to 2" I think what you are referring to is a bend in the primary.

Thanks Mark. I got the flanges from Summit. They are Kooks flanges.
