Not worried one bit! I am sure it will stay together and it will run a fast time than your 445! Guess we will just have to find out.

Now if i can get my P0342 low volts to cam sensor code figured out so Carl can tune it I will be all set.

Oh settle down boys, you guys really can't take a little spirited competition!?? I'm just giving Ryan a little grief cause he was hiding all this and it was a big secret. I documented and threw all my build, with issues good or bad for all you guys to see so i really don't see your point. I think this thing will be a pretty nasty setup for sure and i can see i will have to be on top of my game next time out!!

Were all about competition thats for sure! It was only to be a secret till we got it going then ryan lost interest of hiding it. And like stated before there's some problems with the cam position sensor hopefully we can get them sorted out so we can run it yet this year.

Cam sensor issue has been sorted out, Carl thinks it may hit the rollers this weekend.

Did you ever figure out the issue with the piston dots. I've never assembled an engine, but owned multiple sets of pistons on each one the specification card mentioned the locating marks should be oriented the same. Again, not an expert, just wondering.

Yes that issue was sorted out, the dots all face the toward the front of the motor. The reason is a piston pin offset to help with keeping oil consumption down, and piston slap.

No where did it say in the instructions about the locating marks and the piston pin offset. The builder assumed that the L and R markings on the top of the pistons were for ordering purposes, like any other typical small block chevy.
