Changing setup on my LS2 402. Need some input.
My set up now is a built 402 with:
FAST 92mm intake manifold and TB.
Trickflow 220 as cast heads
Texas Speed LS7S Cam 242/250 duration .614/.614 Lift on 114 LSA
11.3:1 compression
This setup is in an RX7 with a T56. Basically I'm looking for something that will pull all the way until 6500-7000rpm while not losing too much on the midrange. I mostly use this car on the street with an occasional visit to the strip and road course. I just want to finish the build without having to go back because I didn't get things right the first time. The above cam and head are still on the mild side for me as far as streetability goes. What would you guys recommend?

If your exhaust is good you have all the components. Porting the heads with a good valve job would help. I have had similar engines and they all were pulling past 7k. I do not know all the particulars you have...valvetrain, tuning, etc.

I have all the above except exhaust. Running 1 3/4" headers going into 3" Y-pipe into 3.5" single exit. Will be switching to 1 7/8" headers and possibly 3" Y-pipe into 4" single exit exhaust. With my above setup, my power peaks at 6k RPM. I'm just looking to squeeze some more out of the 402.
