Default MAST heads/rocker bolts too short?

trying to install my mast ls7 heads, do I need longer rocker bolts? the stock ls7 rocker bolt only sticks outta their rocker stands like 2 threads.

If you're using stock ls7 rockers, then the length shouldn't change. If you're using thicker rockers, then I'd imagine you'd use equivalently longer bolts. Two threads isn't nearly enough engagement, do the mast heads run coolant through the rocker post holes? Some of the larger heads do.

The LS7 rockers will fit on the GM LS7 heads directly without using rocker stands

When you want to install the GM LS7 rockers on MAST heads you need the rockers stands , Mast will give you the rockers stands when you buy the heads from them .

I'm running LXR 305 and they're same as Mast 305 heads , We built RHS 491 running 1.8 yella tera rockers with mast stand rockers , and The LSX 454 running 1.8 Crower and they came with their stands because they're different

Hope that helped u

You have to use Ls3 rocker bolts with Mast heads and stands. Ls7's are too short.
