cam question
Found that my knock was caused from a bad lifter, resulting in a bad spot on the cam. My question is what cam can i use (other than a stock ls2) and still keep all of my other stock components. I'm not looking for more power or anything, but better sound would be great. Thanks in advance. It is going in a 67 camaro with a t-56

jlay,
Have you considered upgrading to a complete cam package so you can get a good bit of chop & power in that 67? The packages with springs & pushrods are pretty reasonable & you can add a solid 50rwhp no problem.

I already have chrome-moly push rods and replaced the lifters, that is why I was looking for cams that could be used with the stock setup. Great looking package, just not what I was looking for.
