Bigboy2 - Are these going on a stock LS3 shortblock? Did you already have that motor tuned? Did you get a dyno baseline at the install shop before putting on the PRC's?

It's a ls3 based stroker kit that I bought from tsp and it runs
Good... Just had it dynod to see what kind of power it would
Put down through a a4.. So it was tuned before ,but it could make
A little more power from what the dyno shop said.. But I wanted
To upgrade the heads and see what they will do and I want t
o make as much power n/a before I put the spray on it...

Just got the car home tonight and this thing is definitely making more HP. Maybe it's just me but at 80mph it will spin the tires now!!!!!!! Before it would just lift the front end up and pull hard. Tomorrow it's getting tuned and should have a better idea of how it runs. Will set up an appointment to get it dyno'd, will let everyone know what the new numbers are soon......

They where cnc ported ls3 heads milled to 65cc.... they where either tsp or scoggin dickeys, one of the two.... they had the light weight valves and prc springs in them...i bought them from a guy named Jason they where new and unused...they worked awesome and just wanted to see if these heads would make more power....

Well folks the results are in.. I ended up getting it dyno'd this morning and I am happy to say those heads where worth the money !!!! It picked up 54 more rwhp and 48 more ft pounds of tq..... It made 510.76hp and 475tq!!!!! That was unlocked.....the a/f was right around 12.5 and the tuner said everything was good and dead on ,so she is ready for drag radials and some spray for next year........

I would consider that stellar results! What size chambers did you order?

I'm curious how you finished up the tuning if it wasn't on a dyno already... street tuning? Both dyno numbers achieved on the same physical dyno? Converter was unlocked on the old dyno also? Can you post a graph with both dyno curves?

That was a street tune that we did last night with a wide band and this was a different dyno that was closer to my engine installers shop. I am going to put it on the same dyno that I did before too just to see.. The reason I didnt do it was because he doesn't work on Saturday and the weather is suppose to get nasty tonight and begining of next week....The converter was unlocked just like at the last place and they both are dynojets. My installer dyno'ed his car there as well and then took it to two other dynos around his area and they all where with in 5-10 horsepower... The graphs I have are pics that I took on my phone but will have download it to my computer at home and then I can post. They have 62cc from 65cc(old) so it went 11:4 to 11:6 not a big jump but i asummed it helped!!!! The reason being I went from a 0.040 gasket to a 0.45 gasket too.... because thats all they had in stock.....

Sweet... what I want to see is the before/after results at your original dyno shop on the same chart. Man, 11.6 static compresion... I swear I was told the LS3 liked less compression and more spark so that's why I built mine at only 10.8.

Its going to get there it's just a matter of when..... It should be pretty close.... Im happy no matter what!!!!!! Im not sure what they like but as long as its making horse power im good, when we where tuning it ,it had 25,26 degrees of timing and we put it up to 27,28 degrees and I guess it liked it because it pulled hard!!!! we didnt change anything on the dyno though to see if it liked less or more...
