Cool man like I said you will love them and you got to keep me posted on your progress so we can keep this thread going and represent for PRC... There are a lot of people would like to know how they perform and I'm a believer.. Is there any other guys running these heads yet?

Just give Pat G a buzz and take all the guess work out it!!!! He will hook you up just everyone else that has asked for his help......that's one less thing to worry about and so you can worry about something else because thats what we do when we try to build as much horsepower as our pockets will allow ....

You would have to give those guys a call to see! But I'm sure they would work wonderfully with your set up because I don't think they make heads that are specifically for vvt cams ... Mabe I'm wrong but the engine is a air pump the more you get in and out the more power she makes ... The cam timing controls when the air goes in and how much goes in and out....

I ran the VVT-2 cam in my 2010 SS. It ran great, but I am lening towards the VVT-3 cam.

Someone with a LY6 should slap these new heads on. I would imagine the smaller ports and ability to mill the chambers down (while still having good P2V clearance) would yeild good results.

With them ( next year). The heads of corse are the new prc 250 which are awesome!!!!!! Don't know if I'm forgetting anything?
Impressive results, especially through an auto.

Still would like to know what head was on the car before the PRC's went on.
GM Casting LS3? Ported or stock?

Thanks!

They were ls3 ported Cnc 821 that were milled to 65cc.. They worked pretty good but these just worked better.. I just ordered a gz vacuum pump because the motor is making more power it's starting to create more crankcase pressure
Because its pushed the dip stick out on the last dyno run...hopefully it will make a little more horsepower !!! I also need to upgrade the headers and hopefully get close to that 550 range unlock.. Hopefully.....I don't know of any other things I can do...

What size header are you upgrading to? I'm in the process of a similar build (418 LS3) and I already have 1-7/8" - 2" ARH headers but I can't decide on which head I want to run. Your results were pretty good but I really want to see how the PRC Small Bore LS7 heads would do on my engine to 7500rpms. In a few months I'll be able to finish the build and heads are coming up next.

I'm going with the 17/8 either kooks or stainless works they are on sale right now but I've spent more money this month on my self than ever so I'm trying to justify why I should buy these headers this month along with the heads, vacuum pump i already bought... My girlfriend don't really care because it's my money ... but I feel as thought I'm being selfish but all the Christmas stuff is done which is good... But as for as the heads that will be up to you ...I love these heads but the ls7 stuff is awesome as well I just didn't want to spend the money for another fast and other ls7 stuff to go with it... But they both make good power is just how much you want to spend!!!!if you go with the ls7 I would like to know the differnce in power and is worth it to change!!!!

I really want to see what these heads will do with a G6X3 cam and
FAST intake manifold.

I really want to see what they do on a stock bottom end LS3 with a manual transmission and cam that will rev to 7000-7200 compared to ported stock heads revving to the same RPM...I'm having a very hard time deciding on sending my LS3 heads out for porting, or buying these...I already have the Tony Mamo FAST 102, I already have the 1.875" Kooks...it's a tough call.

BUY them the valve angle alone will net you more power plus you can run more compression without ruining you air flow!!!!!! Which is even more free horsepower ...

Well...I called TSP to talk to them today...he took my e-mail and said he'd be sending over some info. I hope so...this isn't a 20 second decision...who knows.
