Yea lol I was half asleep when I posted that... Cajun called me and woke me up and we talked for a while.. I'm getting the z06 pinon support and hopefully rpm will replace my main shaft with the z06... The main shaft has cracks through out it and I do believe it flexed under hard acceleration and cracked the inner pinon support.... then broke off.. I'm sure glad everything is still under warranty

So did the rear lock up and cause the main shaft to break?

No the diff did not lock up... Rem I rotated the tires and didn't hear any clunking or anything.. The way everything looks.. The main shaft had to go first.. If the diff internals cracked the way it did before the main shaft broke then the main shaft would of shredded the diffs internals.. Look at those pictures I posted up.. That's what I think happened but I could be wrong..

This thread has gone a bit off the rails. Lets skip the attacks and callouts. If it gets worse, I'm locking this thread.

Good update! Although I haven't had the chance to ship the diff out.. I been working with rpm.. BER is going to fix my diff and upgrade it as wel as RPM is doing the same with the transmission.. Awesome vendors and I recomend them. As you see.. outstanding customer service and they realize there are bad parts..

RPM is done with the trans.. I had BER ship the diff to rpm so they could machine the pinion support to fit the 30 spline mainshaft. RPM is still waiting on the diff from BER.. I'm hoping I can have the car done 100% before Aug 18th for the local forum track/dyno day... The way it's going I don't see my new mods being done but atleast I'll have the diff and trans back soon

Ok my buddy wanted to to update this.. I had my rpm transmission with the 30 spline shaft for about a week.. I get my 3.90 diff back with new internals machined to 30 spline Sept first.. I'm doing break in miles for the diff and trans and then loading up heading to ohio.. Had a choice... an 08 r1 or this.. Sept 11th I should receive the Upp TT kit and will be selling my intake,Lt headers, and injectors.. My first ever twin turbo install on a vehicle and well this kit looks quite simple. I'm only gonna be pushing maybe 10 psi with meth.. nothing 2 crazy ya know

I'll be rolling around for 3 days until I bounce.. sucks those will be break in miles for trans and diff or I would love to get some final runs in with your group

I got to hand it to you. When you say your going to do something/get something, you do it. I like that about you. Good luck with it all the parts look good.

Thanks man.... I really don't see the UPP kit that hard to install.. There's a step by step guide about it and a guy on cf already made a build thread for a c6.. So really no need for me to step by step update this but I will post pictures here and there so yal see I do my own work. Only reason I made this build thread was because so many peps was curious about the ls3 heads on ls2.. I'm in a huge debate between e85 or 93/meth.. New fuel pump will be needed for the e85 and I really don't feel like dropping the drivetrain again for a while
