700hp to the tires is a stout engine if your trying to stay with a fast style intake. We have built 725-740 flywheel horsepower strokers no problem. I guess it really depends on if your running pump gas, and what intake combo your considering.

Give us a call & we can put you together a detailed quote with pricing & part recommendations based on your vehicle & goals.

Checkout this read on the Texas Speed Machine Shop. VERY VERY few LS shops actually have a entire machine shop dedicated to LS engines.

The style of FAST intake will dictate the heads you can use (e.g, cathedral port, rectangular port, etc).

I have a LSX454 and its good for NA but if you ever want to go boost or a lot of spray I would lean toward the the 427 because the cylinder walls are thicker. For all out TQ or all motor power def the 454 though.

Or save weight and do a sleeved block. You also would have pleanty or cylinder wall thickness for n2o.
