Default electric waterpump worth it?

i almost got every bolt on my car... this is close to being the last one..i know this isnt really considered a bolt on but.. is this pump worth it ?
btw car is a 99 camaro z28 cam etc etc

In my book it is worth it for the extra power. The only problem is the cost for the street pump from meziere. The race pump is a whole lot cheaper.

Does the street.pump.tend to go out faster??

$600 for 3-4hp...is that worth it to you?

He has a 400+ cube motor with a th400, I think he will gain a little more than 3-4hp

You'll see 8-12 on the dyno. Worthwhile in my book, and a bonus is you can run the pump in the pits with the engine off if you want to cool the car

What all is needed for a Meziere 119 pump?
Top hose, bottom hose, do you need a t stat for track only car?
Do the stock hoses work?

The pump should come with a t-stat but you can always change it out if im not mistaken its a sbc t-stat
