My 402 build...
I have this going on another site but figured I'd post it on here too. My 2006 GTO has about 80K miles on it and I've been wanting to rebuild it. Car is going to the shop in about 2 weeks. Waiting on a few minor parts to arrive. I'm going to let the shop spec out a rotating assembly.
Heads are....
LXR CNC Ported LS3 Heads:
New Design Castings with 11* Valve Angle
Fully CNC Ports and Combustion Chambers
4.080 Bore has 69cc Chambers
255cc Intake Port Volume
Relocated Valve Stem Centerlines
2.165” x 5/16" Stainless Intake Valves
1.600” x 5/16" Stainless Exhaust Valves
Lunati 73925 Dual Valve Spring Package
Flow 372-260 cfm at .700” Lift
Intake is a ported L76 from Peak Speed Shop
-Cam is a 247/254 .635 .621 on a 114LSA
-OEM rockers( offset LS3 intake rockers)
-Trunnion upgrade
-C5R timing chain
-Hinson motor mounts
Other parts I will be reusing are
-Ported LS6 oil pump
-Morel lifters
-Fast 57# injectors
-ARP head bolts

Same here. They have done work to my car before. The heads were a pretty penny so I hope some nice numbers come out of this build.

Im reusing my stock LS2 block. Im not boring it out to 4.080 either. For the info on the heads it was saying that a 4.080 bore has 69cc chambers.

Did you see the cam I got in my first post? If so, what do you think?
Om also debating having them do an SD tune. I was originally going to buy a Fast 102 but read and seen that the LS3 Fast really didnt outflow a ported L76 that much. I can't wait for the build to be done.

Can't really say on the cam selection. It's a medium sized cam for a 402 so it will drive great without sacrificing top end too much. Your setup is different from everything that's out there so it may take more than one cam to get it dialed in right.
From what I saw on some other build, apparently VA Speed has a porting process for the FAST 102s that picks up good power. It's a matter of whether or not it's worth the $$$ for you.
