I hope your wrong about pat g I told him if I need to buy a new cam I would and he just kept saying that out of a stock ls3 top end they were respectable numbers said most people who argue it are on "happy" numbered dynos

Not saying I don't agree with you just string what was said to me

I was thinking same thing only reason why I grabbed this one was to get it rolling again.

As far as track numbers I couldn't hook in 3 gear on spray with 28" Et streets or a 26" radial so never made it to the track

Just spoke with Geoff at eps he said same thing as pat g maybe 10-15whp low but that's prob in timing since I'm not at max timing effiency yet and said play with that and Gould be fine so he said dont worry about a cam lol so idk he made good point every added point of compression is only 3% increase in power. Tht being said on a dyno jet he said ls3 camaros he tunes and cam make 470-480 on a dyno jet me being on a mustang dyno with a 6% loss I'm pretty close he says.

if youre happy with that cam, i would just port head exhausts. intake ports are already big for a 370 cube motor. exhaust ports do need help.

He told me the same thing basically. With the cam I have, he said he has cam only 5th gen's making 500 at the ground.

I really think that cam is too big for a 370. That's about the size you see in 402+ ls3 headed engines.

Geoff and pat both know it is a lot easier to over cam an ls3 headed engine than a cathedral port engine. The ports are so large and lazy, too big of a cam causes reverberation in the intake runner, essentially pushing air back the opposite direction.

I have a 370 built for nitrous.. 11.9:1.. Tsp ls3 231 cam, the large ls3 grind they sell. stock l92 top end.. 4000 ptc converter.
I have zero results yet but i think its going to be a strong setup.
373s.. stock heads And intake.. Im looking for 46x on motor. built to handle a 300 hit but converter will have to be changed.
