I went and had my car dynoed today and it is busting up between 2 and 3 grand, after 3 it clears but is blowing black smoke out the back, adjusted fuel air ratio all the way to 13.8 but will not clear smoke, also engine peaks at 5200 rpm and levels out but cam is supposed to peak around 6500. I do not know which way to look, camshaft was degreed at 110 and a half, suppose to be 110, but was as close as we could get it. Any suggestions?

Check your MAF. What is the gm/s on HPtuners? Unplug it and see what the values do. Had the same thing happen and the MAF went bad causing all kinds of issues. I thing you might want to put this in the PCM diagnostics section also

MAF is fine, Futral checked everything on the dyno yesterday, all the above mentioned is fine, is it possible that the reluctor is off, it is not throwing any codes. I am going to check and see where the timing is at with a light.

I too am curious as to where you set the gap on your plugs and what was the heat you chose for the build on them. I'll toss out there if you are over 40tho close the gap. 11.x:1 can and will cause spark blow out if the gap is not in the 40 range, maybe even tighter

Gap sounds good. Seen guys love that plug and others hate it... With what you have I think your plugs are OK. Timing light time it is then, see if your reported is the same as your actual. You using HP Tuners for the tuning job? I'd like to see if torque managemant is messing with you. I don't want to step on your toes, are you tuning yourself or you have a shop doing the tuning?

I think i found my problem tonight guys, i was checking my push rod lengths and it appears i am .045 too long. According to my new tuner- builder, i am suppose to get my rocker tightened to 0 lash, and should be able to tighten on down 1 full turn of the bolt, which will put me at .060 preload, but with what i currently have, i can turn 1 and 3/4 turns, which is giving me around .105 preload and is causing the valves to stay cracked and causing reversion.

What length push rods did you use?Are the heads milled at all? Were you on the base circle of the lobe when setting zero lash?I'm pretty sure one full turn on the rocker is .047 not .060 but I could be wrong.
