I have the street series Lunati. Shift it at 7200 and thru the traps 7500. No problems.
Lunati spring kit, big thick manton PR, stock rockers
FTI cam

Is not chewing up springs or any other parts.

The 5206s have a smaller feed hole then the street series.. Some people claim the 5206s are a noisy lifter.. I prefer the larger feed hole. I just have had more success with it.. I think Brian is correct in his statement that some bleed down easier.. As far as stock lifters not being robust... Depends who you ask. IMO all in spring setup.. Not right you get valve float and hammer the lifter on the cam lobe and start breaking s%$t, this has given a lot of lifters a bad name and it is just bad spring install....low rpm oil pressure is a big player aswell..infact it is something that I found by mistake that works very well in preventing bleed down. I like the street series lifters however I have seen some inconsistencies in them. Just because they have a link bar attached does not mean they are good or have great quality control.. I normally run stockers or street series.. If anything serious go straight to the short travel lifters. (not comp ones...morel!).

As far as the TFS im still torn, the prc matches my budget better and it seems like the results between the two can be split between a curly **** hair just about.

I just got Model 5206's and BT max lift springs from Brian. I can't comment on performance as my build isn't complete but of the many, many vendors I am dealing with on my build, Brian is right up there. Great products, prices, and above all service. Just call him and he will take the time to explain and see that you get the right stuff.

I think brian has talked me into those SLR lifters. They seem like a plenty capable lifter for what im looking to do.

I'm running the street Morel Linkbars in my LS1 with Brian's platinum spring/titanium retainer package along with some pushrods from Brian as well. I'm using a not as violent LSL lobe on both intake and exhaust on mine and have quite a few dyno pulls and track passes on the setup.

IMO I'd go TFS w/ powder metal guides and stock rockers with a 3/8 pushrod. The pushrod holes in the TFS heads are huge! Also remember different lifters will be different heights so don't order your pushrods until you get the lifters in the engine and cylinder heads on to accurately check pushrod length. The Morels that I have didn't have but ~.080" total travel so that leaves little room for error in pushrod length. Stock LS7's had ~.200".

If the body of the SLR lifters is not upgraded you are not really gaining anything other than covering up some other problem you have.

If you start crashing the lifter on the lobe the SLR is going to fail just like any other cast body lifter.

Finslly made up my mind on heads, PRC LS3 small bore, just unsure if i should go 250 255 or 260cc. I think the 255 have the best numbers for me
