With the new design of pistons these days having a shorter skirt profile, is this skirt wear still a thing on boosted LSX and Dart LS Next iron blocks? Wiseco K446X125 with upgraded wrist pins should be fine in a 1300 rwhp setup, no?

Doesn't seem to be a problem with the lsx block either. I wonder how things look in this setup almost 2 years later:

Its all about the engine builder, parts selected and machine work.
My 383 LS1 w/4 inch stroke Callies crank, rods & Wiseco's tapered stroker pistons. No oil burning or other issues. I've never had to add oil to this engine it burns less than a new completely stock LS1.

Yes the Summit racing Pro LS pistons are also designed with about everything you can imagine already done to them. These pistons are a very good deal on the models that they make that fit your usage and they have quite a few combos covered as well.
