Default looking for motor...help plz

Looking for a stock ls3 or stock ls7 to build. Is there a big difference in the two. Budget is small concern. But would love have one if those in my ws6. Pm me if anything interesting.

depends on what your gaols are. an ls3 can easily get you well beyond 500rwhp
and ls7 can get you beyond 600rwhp

both can go plenty more, but for a streetable n/a build those are some fairly general ideas

11k for a complete used motor?

You can build one for way cheaper!

Will you be adding boost to it at all?

Many shy away from the Ls7 for boost and that's when the Ls3 is preferred or a resleaved 5.3/Ls2 block is also preferred.

Give us a call when you have some free time. We can put together a package to meet your goals & you won't be using a stock rotating assembly!

We have about 40 short-blocks built & in stock right now so I bet we have a combo for ya!

Youre not gonna get a 427 with an ls3 unless you go for the long stroke and I discourage that. Strokes longer than 4" tend to have skirt wear issues among other things.

A 4" stroke on a stock ls3 bore will give you a 416

you can sleeve any of the blocks to get a big bore, but a 454 im pretty sure is gonna require that extra long stroke
