LSX Tall-Deck Block 19260100
I'm picking up this block today, has anyone used it yet? If so, anything besides the taller deck that I should be aware of? I'm planning on using MAst 305cc LS7 heads, unless there's a better alternative. I'll probably top it off with a Hogan's manifold. It'll be twin-turbocharged similar to my previous 1200hp TT Corvette.
I'm targeting around 1500hp on pump gas.

I picked up the tall-deck LSX block Friday.

The Mast heads should arrive in about 2 weeks, then I'll begin fabricating the exhaust/turbo system. Once the fab is done, I'll take the block back for boring, align-honing, machining for 1/2" head studs, decking, and maybe larger main studs and lifters.
