Default Ls6 versus ls7 head intake ports??

Question for you guys,I know the bolt holes are different but are the ls6 cathedral intake ports in the same location as the ls7 rectangle intake ports???i have a kenne bell blower with a lower intake made for older cathedral heads and I wana know if its possible to mill off the old flange and weld on an ls7 intake flange so I need to know if ports are in same location??

U would be better off doing the suggestion I gave you on your other thread you are opening up a big of can of trouble.....They have great cathedral heads TFS/AFR/TSP hell a pair of ported heads wouldn't be bad either......You using FI this is not N/a where you will see a major Diff. Air is being forced in..... Hogan sheet metal can do this for you a bunch of money when you could just buy a set of TFS 235 you will save more than if you bought Custom lower blower manifold...Also anything can be done (BUT).....what your trying to do is not cost effective....

TFS heads will take stock rockers as long as they have the proper guides installed in them.

Rebuild your stock rockers with the Comp Cams trunion bearing rebuild kit.

This could not be further from the truth. Cylinder head flow is just as, if not more important on forced induction as it is naturally aspirated. The dynamics of air flow are different, but the importance of the cylinder head design and port characteristics remain the same.

you are correct...He's using FI this is not N/a .... Air is being forced in ok....When you force something in you have more air being pushed in correct. N/a works on what....... N/a... All of the heads mention above will work great......... be it F/I........N/a we know that :Cylinder head flow is just as, if not more important on forced induction as it is naturally aspirated. The dynamics of air flow are different, but the importance of the cylinder head design and port characteristics remain the same.... I understand what was stated.... Who makes the most power N/a or F/i and the ? is why...F/i with stock ported castings will out power most N/a engines with the best aftermarket heads..why.....18psi... F/I ....Correct...or lets take F/I and a set of of L92ported heads vs a Cathedral TFS 235 head.......Budget?? & HP...difference..????also which 1 is really more bang for the buck with F/i or N/a...... If he's buying heads as opposed to getting a custom blower lower intake for a LS7heads........ all the heads listed above will work out good .......Correct. All the heads above will work with his Cathedral style blower intake.

I tried to make an LS7 to LS3 adapter, the turn was way to much, 21* IIRC. So then I tried LS7 to LS6, the turn was even worse at the bottom. It will work...just not very good.
