Default Build a 650hp 6.0L - fill in the holes!

Ok...so I've been kicking around another set up for a project coming up and have some spare stuff laying around that I'd like to use. My goal is a NA 600-650hp (at the crank) 6.0L LQ4. Sticking with injection; I know there are some really nice carb builds out there, but I prefer the injection. The NA side of things is my weakness as I'm boosted and never built a NA LS before. So, here's what I got...

6.0L LQ4
FAST 92mm intake (pn 54039B)
MSD coil pack (pn 82868)
Aeromotive fuel system (Stealth in tank pn 18688)
Full set of ARP LS black oxide bolt kit

Questions are...

What heads would you recommend? Something out of the box would be preferred and not picky on the manufacturer.
I've been thinking of trying out a Lunati rotating assembly...anyone used their LS stuff yet?
Headers or ok to just reuse the cast manifolds?
Anything that I listed above you wouldn't use?
How would you build a 650hp 6.0L?

Flat top pistons with valve relives, Afr heads and a big *** cam... Oh and lots of RPM. Gonna be tough on a stock 6.0. Not to mention probably not very streetable.

Are you staying stock displacement? If so that might be tough to achieve and you're going to have to go with a pretty radical setup and high compression.

My plans were to try out a Lunati rotating assembly, so stock displacement and stroke are open. I'd be up for any combination to make the power I'm looking for. Pump gas.

Here's what you are looking for, just get a Custom Tick or Pat.G cam:.....The Ultimate Chevrolet LS Cylinder Head Test - Speed Parts Testing. Something along these lines 408/11.5 compression, Choose your heads.
I'm shooting for 700hp and doing something new besides my solid roller cam & lifter set up...cheeeeeep hyd. roller cam Gm lifter's and rockers.

If your buying a forged bottom end, just go for the 408, No clearancing need for the crank (4''), Throw in 30 of pistons, Like 200-300 at most for boring, and slap it together. Anything bigger than a 4'' crank and you have to spend more in machining. Really about the same price.

Lil John or lil wayne? That is hard to follow lol.

I think I know what your describing here. I agree with the 4' stroke crank but if your bores are good to go then don't worry about the .030 pistons. The 6 cu in of displacement wont make a difference.

I wouldn't go through all that work and money just to have the bores slightly out of round and the rings not seal. Bore the cylinders

TSP 237 heads, a big custom cam, sell your fast 92 and put a victor and a 4150 on it, spin it to 7600 and you've got a winner.

It's pretty simple 402 to 408 Cathedral with a ported fast 102 or L92's with a Victor Jr both will need custom cam and compression 11+
Briou 700 @ the Flywheel man that's the least of your problems tring to figure out how not to spin the tires in any gear @ part throttle will be the issue..... Intelligent Traction Control for the old schools....

Yup, the heads are the key I think and that's where I'm struggling to make a decision.

I'd inject my lawnmower if it meant getting rid of the frickin carb. =)

Lil: My plan for traction control is the full suspension I already have along with some wide rubber to keep it stuck....

Brian: In all my researching and looking around it really all comes down to getting a the right head and the cam to match....once you get those two figured out it is pretty easy to figure out what intake, headers, etc....I am planning on going with the Mast 305 black label ls7 heads.....I already have an intake that will feed pretty much any heads....Check out my thread...a bunch of knowledge has been put down in there.... https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...454-build.html

Oh yeah you did tell me that...I'm stuck with 295/35 18 for rear and 255/35 18 fronts
I'm looking at something like the FAST XFI 2.0™ ECU - Intelligent Traction Control™
