I have a 1991 Camaro that I want to convert to LSX. I want the car to have atleast 430RWHP. That is through a T56.
The LQ9 6.0 would have a LS6 intake and Fbody accesories and a dyno tune afterwards. The car has a 3" magnaflow cat back and Cutout.
What heads and cam would put me over my goal?
Will a LS6 Intake flow well enough?
What other parts will I need to reach atleast 430Rwhp?
-A very aggressive sounding cam is a high priority for me.
I say 430, but don't know the potential of these. Anything between 430 and 500 is great.
Thanks for any input. In the mean time I am searching to find more information.

He also has the build under the hybrid section. Search for 1965 Buick Skylark for the details.

Well, I have a (LQ9) 390ci with a ported LS6 intake and ported "LS1" heads.....BUT I built it with only 10.8:1 compression.
It dynoed something like 410 RWHP. The cam is in my sig. along with pretty much everything else. My heads only flowed 304 cfm@.600
If you put some halfway decent heads that flow in the 350 cfm range you should make about 430-450 RWHP....especially since you want an aggressive cam. You can make 500 RWHP with stock cubes with a decent head/cam package. They were making 500 way back in 2000 with stock cubes on pump gas.
430 RWHP is cake.........get some LTs also. 3/4" is all you need.

There are also several Top End kits out there with proven power ratings to make your build as easy as possible. A good option would be the TrickFlow GenX® Top-End Kit. This is tested for 515 Hp, and 460 ft/lbs on an LS1 with LS6 manifold. The 6.0L bottom end would offer even better numbers.
