Yes, the tranny and exhaust were done already. I upgraded the fuel pump to the Lingenfelter pump gas fuel pump while doing the motor swap.

Thanks! Yep, my goal was to do it right, so I do it once the clutch is getting better and better with each added mile. I'm up to 200! Another 100, and it'll be on the rollers!

Once. We're at 200 miles so far. When we get to 300, it'll get another oil change and then hit the dyno!

No kidding! It'll be the after this weeken. I hope to get vid of the dyno, but in trying to get it done quickly, I may be out of town when it's done. My next 2 weekends are packed w/ car related events... Good guys show this weekend, and then, my pops is running the Texas Mile in his C6Z next weekend shooting for 180+!

Stock rockers w/ comp trunnion upgrade. I may switch to stockers w/ CHE bushings after a while. I think it's a better overall setup, just pricey.

How much are the CHE's? Ed mentioned using those but I went with the trunnion upgrade.

CHE's are $650 plus the cost of buying the stock rockers. They're high, but there's no retainer clips, it's a solid bushing.

Help! I'm wondering about cam specs.....Are the cam specs for this build quoted with 1.8 rockers ? I have noticed that my 620 lift cam becomes 680 going from 1.7 to 1.8's hence needing a very beefy valve train and I have read somewhere that with 1.8's on my ls3 heads I would need to open up the guides? (My wallets giving me a dirty look).

Just read che's add. .001 tir with there +/-.0005 could leave you with .0005 for valve and guide expansion. I don't care what they state that is crazy for a street app. JMO (registered mold and die maker) Sorry che but oil impregnated bronze and titanium expands at 300*. Can u say interference fit! Read there add again where it states that there customers are obsessed. We here are all a bit OCD types but please don't do that with this awesome build. Factory .004 sounds great for longevity and a good amount of Texas miles.
