I've another name if you are interested. I've made a couple changes to my toilet this winter looking for that perfect drive ability. I will re dyno & re tune & see where that goes. I don't want to change the camshaft, but I will. The recommendations were surprising, not what I expected.

Sorry, for the lack of updates! No, still not there, changed cams, and am now at 580/490 sans Catback, w/ exhaust 570/482 with Catback.

Next will be a ported Fast 102, and 1 7/8". It'll get there, it's just taking longer than expected.

I'm there on the bottle! 700/605!!!

Congratz on the new numbers. It's getting nasty hp numbers now. I'm curious as to which style morals you put in and reasons besides the noise factor. Did you consider the limited travel type?

It's large: 251/267 .701/.670 on a. 114+4. To save you the research on lobes it running QXX/HUC lobes.

Now I need to tighten up my headers (1 7/8", never, never buy 2" headers for an NA setup!), and get a ported Fast.

They are short travel. They are the Lunati race lifters. Much quieter than my previous LS7's.

Man seeing you say that about your headers has me wondering how mine are going to do....I would have thought the 2" primaries would have been more beneficial...

I would think 2" headers have reduced the velocity of the exhaust gases which reduced the scavenging of the cylinder which moves torque way up in the powerband.

Yeah that would make sense....I guess with my set up I should gain some low/mid range torque back with my intake runner length...

It is cool to see how different yet similar set ups do different things

I've got a similar build going on now (to 427ZM), same bottom end but with Frankenstein hand ported PRC 285's and 1 3/4 headers. It'll be interesting to see the results

Did you ever try the 2" primary headers with your new camshaft?

The drop seems wickedly dramatic to me - I am keenly interested because I have been planning on running 2" headers myself.
