Who makes good cam and spring kit for a LS7

Mite be replacing my heads to prevent the guide issues , so id like to look into changing the cam as well. Im looking for reputable vendors that provide proven cam and spring kits, or even cams by themselves since i mite be able to get a spring kit on the heads that will accommodate a nice cam. Looking for a cam that works on stock block,stock pistons and possibly stock ported heads, i would like the cam to makes good mid power with good drivability and a bit on the rough idle side Any advice would be good thanks

Go with Comp Cams. They just built a custom ground cam following the specs from my tuner. It was for my new Super vharged 7.3 liter 447 ci forged stroker.

We have our proven LS7S and LS7R cams in stock as well as our PRC 265cc LS7 heads. We can also CNC port your stock heads, replace all of the guides, and install solid stem exhaust valves to cure the dreaded valve drop issue from GM. Not to mention pick up a nice boost from the port work.
