Default Add Port to 4" Silicone Intake Tube?

I have Saikou Dual Catch Cans. I need a fresh air port between the throttle blade and the MAF. Since I have a stock LS2, the DBW TB has no provision.
What is a good quality fabrication for installing a port in the silicone?

Here's the Saikou simple diagram. The LS2 Vettes have the plastic air bridge, but I have the silicone. Also, here's a look at someone's attempt.

I'm concerned about obstruction inside the tube, and air tight. Any thoughts, ideas?

Just poke a hole (drill it!) and insert a threaded nipple!

I'm having a hard time visualizing that. Do you have a pic?

It's a little hard to see (circled in red the fitting is pointed downward) but I drilled a hole into my rubber hump tube (between the metal clamps).

Found what I was looking for. Will probably grind the flange down a little just to reduce obstruction as much as possible inside the silicone tube. It's made of aluminum, threaded on the outside so it will fit snug, and has the 3/8" hose barb.

Got the piece. Ground the flange head down to 3/16" (there's a rubber washer in the pics). I could go more, but I'm not an air flow engineer.
Once I get the silicone tube hole drilled, I'll use 3M weatherstripping around it.

Just make sure to make the Hole only as big as it need to be. IMO, I would probably remove the rubber washer and just use a bead of RTV sealant around the base of the barbed tube, then another bead around the tube where it protrudes through the silicone tube, before threading the nut on.

Works well with no problems. The hose is not as taught as it looks in the pic.
