TEA used to be owned by Brian Tooley so I think he gets the heads from there, just a hunch. I'm trying to finish my combo and I'm hoping within a month but we'll see. I have no time but I'm grateful for the reason.
You're absolutely correct, Brian Tooley started Total Engine Airflow back in the early 90's. And he still uses TEA's CNC porting. I can't wait to get mine.
ill add to this , car is a 94 z and im currently building a ls3 based 427 with a 13-1 comp ratio , heads are livernois stg 3 l92 heads , cam is a tooley custom grind with a .623 intake lift 301 duration , exh is .596 lift and 319 duration on a 112 lsa . intake mani is a fast 102 n/w 102 with a nitrous outlet money maker kit inside set up for a 300 shot . trans th400 on a brake rmvb , edge 4500 stall , 9 in rear diff with a 3.90 gear .

I'm building a 416 for my AWD TBSS. Here is some of the combo.
10.75 to 1 compression
WCCH stage 3 LS3 heads
LS9 Head gaskets and ARP head studs
Holley Hi Ram Intake with 102mm throttle body
ARH 1 7/8 Headers with custom 3" stainless true duals
CHI rockers 1.7
Katech billet doweled main caps
Oh and I almost forgot the biggest part
F1D Procharger
Don't want to upgrade it too much, cuz im supercharging it later, but building it to have fun with it/break it in before I do that. I'm still trying to decide on the rest of the engine parts, suggestions more than welcome! (e-force supercharger btw with a custom tune)
oh, the intake valves in the lingenfelter heads are hollow, but the exhaust ones are made out of the special material or whatever? to replace the weak stock ones i think it is...
LME built shortblock: K1 Crank and rods, Wiseco slugs, AFR big bore 225's ported by Pete at V-Max. Fast 90 and LS7 90mm TB also done by Pete.
Comp XE-R custom grind cam, 248/254, .615"/.648 on a 112+2 LSA. 11.87 scr. Made 543/493 on a dynojet on 91 octane. I did this build 5 + years ago and have around 20k miles on it and it still runs mid 10's at 130+ on a decent track if I do my part! No regrets here, would do it again in a heartbeat!
was looking on youtube, and there was a G8 LS3(or whatever the equivalent is) with a 416 NA that made 498 or so with lingenfelter GT9 cam, so by rights we should expect that benchmark too?
427ci LS3 (4.070 x 4.100), 11.5:1 - prepped by HKE and myself
LS3 heads done by AirFlow Development (Dennis Wheet)
Holley Hi Ram also done by AFD, 102mm NW TB.

Kooks 2" primary headers. (Tiny 3" collector, being changed)
Moroso vacuum pump (8-9"~ of vac, being fixed and increasing to 16"~)
Bigstuff 3 COP
Pump gas street motor that I'm finishing up for my Formula:
427ci LS3 Block (4.070 x 4.100). Done by HKE and myself.
K1 Crank, Eagle H Beams, Wiseco shelf pistons with domes turned down for 11.5:1 compression.
AirFlow Development Trinity 3.3 CSA LS3 heads.
Holley Hi Ram ported by AFD to match the heads.
Cam Motion 25x/26x .756"/.747" solid roller
Morel 5425 Ultra Pro .842" Lifters
PAC 1238X springs, Jesel 1.8 Pro series solid body rockers, 7/16" Manton pushrods
Kooks 2" primary headers.
Moroso 3 vane vacuum pump setup.
Bigstuff 3 COP w/ external reluctor
All the valvetrain design/finessing has been done by Erik Koenig (HKE) and myself. Will post pics soon. It's pretty much finished.
I personally never would have ran a LS3 based head on one of my own builds but Dennis @ AFD is a good friend of mine and finally convinced me to try and set of his LOL. Pretty cool to be able to do a build like this with a mostly stock appearing engine setup (besides the intake manifold of course).
This is an awesome build. I will follow to see results.
416 Stroker...Build by Redline Motorsports in Pompano Beach, Florida
LSx 102 intake, big lid for Ram Air, 42lb injectors, Trick flow 255s, Compstar rods and crank, Diamond pistons, Center Force clutch, American Racing Headers, free flowing cats through Magno flow catback.
Certain I left a lot on the table with the MagnoFlow catback!

Nitrous Outlet 102mm 2-stage plate, setup for dry
Awesome build, close to what Im planning. How does the car run on 10-0 compression when not on nitrous? I am wanting to go YSI or AGP TT later down the road, but cant afford it all in one sha-bang! Im worried that the lower 10-0 compression will make it run like a dog until then. Any insight?

I don't know if you are talking about my car. Mine is the Sunset Orange 2002 on Redline's facebook page with a video. However, I haven't taken it to the track and will not consider it until I change the 10 bolt! LOL
