post your LS3 stroker builds please
Goal is 550 rwhp. Thanks in advance guys.
The small bore LS7s will beat anything tho, so that's probably the best route.
But I still wouldn't discount cathedral port heads... PRC 247s or TFS 245s would all make the HP number with probably more avg torque.
And then there's the Chris Frank ported TFS cathedral port castings...
Currently did a LQ9 408 with Callie's Shaft/Rod, Wiseco pistons, 238/252 custom cam, ported LS3 head, ported fast 102 and port matched to heads with a nw102 and powerbond 20%UDP compression at 12:1.1 and made 543rwhp/506rtq
So it's possible with good parts.

I forgot to mention in my original post the reason for thinking about the small bore LS7's. Was told that they would be a good or better option because of being able to run the LS7 intakes. The LS7 (stock or FAST) are both better for the LS7 compared to the LS3. So that was my reasoning for throwing them into the mix. Just looking for ideas and combos people have ran. This build is still a good ways off so just trying to gather as much info as possible!

I'm sure with those parts, you'll get 600 rwhp no problem. I'd give my left or right ******** (not both) for a set of Frankenstein heads. Been looking at a 98 Trans Am to turn into more of a race car than the 02. Part of me really enjoys the build process. So I wouldn't mind starting another build while I enjoy this one.
