What is best Ls Hyd roller lifters?
I got a big dollar 427ci with biggish bullet hr cam 264/277 and 650 ish lift. Had it on dyno and due to engine builder forgetting to tighten a cam bolt it failed at very low revs. It lasted 1 pull under light load, low timing, and old fuel
It made 650hp and 580 ft lbs at 6000rpm. Expected power is high 700's. It's making 80+hp every 500rpm from 4000.
Engine will rev to 8200+ rpm.
We had 5206 morel link bars and bullet cam tech has suggested to run 5206 high rpm lifters, the only problem is that I've heard if so many 5206 failures.

I went with Morel 5058 HLT. Haven't started the engine yet though.

Your build deserve a solid roller lifter cam as you will have control of your valve train rather than allowing springs to control, IMO venturing into professional rpm territory deserve better control tooling.
Ones you try em there's no going back.

Different strokes for different folks but I'll say the axle oiling for the Johnson's makes them a better design IMO.
That said, you can't go wrong with any of the 3 listed....... although, like others have said, 8200 RPM for a hydraulic is a little dicey (didn't notice the RPM requirement the first time around).
