Cheapest gains after heads, cam, and exhaust on LS2.
My car is currently all stock except a Corsa catback system. Just sent a set of 243 cores off T.E.A for stage 2. Just sent money to Ed for a custom cam. FedEx just brought me a new set of 1 3/4 primary long tubes without Cat's.
My question is if I were to put a price on each HP gained what items are going to be of best value.
100% stock including air filter except for the above mentioned parts to be put on.
Example: Lets say my heads and cam alone gain me 100 hp and cost $2000. that's $20 spent on each hp gained. That's why a part that usually only gains say 15hp but cost $1000 seems inefficient at $67 a hp.
special consideration for things that bring the whole hp curve up.

I really don't want to spend that kind of money on an intake but it really seems to be what people recommend.
I have had nitrous. It's like being addicted to drugs. The effects don't last long and then you run out. You have to keep taking more and more to keep that thrill up. When you are out you are always in a bad mood and don't want to play with your friends giving them all kinds of excuses why you can't perform. Potentials of overdose are always there. You are just not the same person anymore.
Then you have those people that say, well as long as you do it in a safe environment and only use good credible stuff and have limits that then its ok to be a recreational user. But nitrous is a hell of drug.

I hear what you're saying about the nitrous, but for me personally it works great since I only use it when needed and maybe go through 3 bottles a year at most. As far as the intake....got a used ported Fast 90 with rails and injectors all for $600. Sold the rails, injectors, and LS6 intake for $600....so basically it didn't cost me a thing to upgrade

It will be tough to put an exact figure on each part because of how they interact with the others. Like for example, heads alone might gain you 20hp, but with a cam that might be 30 and with headers it might be 40. The same goes for the others in respect to the rest of the mods.

VaraRam is first mod I did on my C5, 8 years ago Very Pleased
With Performance!, fittment could be a little better, I think they are
Much better now, especially on GTO & C6s
