Default LS3 hollow valve in 823 head

Planning on putting gm hollow stem intake valves in my 823 heads. Wondering if I need to have the seats re cut or can get away with hand lapping and assessing the pattern from there. Also for anyone with experience putting the hollow stem valve in this head, are there any difficulties I may run into or is it a fairly direct replacement? I thought I heard somewhere there was a difference in stem length.

Thanks,

Brandon

I've seen a guy on here just lap them in. I plan on doing this to my bro's 30K mile LY6 someday.
