Ly6 Stroker build for Truck hp/mpg Looking upgrade my 08 ly6 6.0
Thinking of stroking to 408. Replacing crank and cam. Keeping the vvt. Replace valve springs, port L92 heads. AARP studs etc.
Ideas for cam/crank/pistons? I like to run 91octane in my vehicles. But compression can't go lower than 9:1.
Plan to keep stock intake. Port heads. Use 42# injectors with tune.
I'd like 500hp+ with a low noticeable idle. Good torque.
If I don't stroke it is there anything I can do get more horse and 17+mpg ?
