Fixed a typo above, it's .0008-.001" tighter than any of the other sets I've had apart, the fact that every single LS7 rocker in the set was exactly this much tighter doesn't make me think it's just one or two that were mis-machined. Not saying all will be like that yet, but for this set at least, it was an absolutely necessary step.

These will work with LS7 rocker arms I have confirmed this.

Good info in Machinistone post as well for those using LS7 rockers and the bushing kits.

That is very interesting. I really appreciate you sharing that in this post so that others can learn from your experience and expertise.

I would think that the buffing and the truing of the rocker pads would help with any valve stem tip wear and rocker pad wear that could occur as well. I could also see valve stem tip wear occurring due to the taper of the rocker tips. Which is interesting that I mention that because I seem to have more customers with LS7 engines that experience valve stem tip wear with valve lift that stays in the "safe zone" of what the rocker arms pivot length can handle.

Thanks again for posting that!

I got mine today from Colorado Speed. They came loose in a priority mail box packed with news paper in little bags. Not a good way to ship them. I was expecting a box like the 1 pictured above. When i opened the box 3 of the trunions fell to the floor. Luckily on a leather bag. not a good way to ship them. There was no paperwork whatsoever

Straub may be the manufacturer or the company that designed and contracted for the manufacturing....but there are several sources for you to purchase the product through.

You have ZERO CLUE. ZERO CLUE on what you are talking about. Yes call Straub. Please do. Or better yet, ask him to come in this thread and let's see what he says.

And I'll repeat what I said here on all three of your posts

I wish you guys would take the time to ask "why" instead of just going on the interweb and blasting away.

We get these in bulk. We have to pack them ourselves and we prefer it that way. Each bushing is slid on each end of the trunnion and wrapped individually. The reason is we found that some of the trunnions have some marking on them which do not allow the bushings to slide through. The prepacked trunnion kits you expect, I do not know if they are all being checked. But with us packing each one, we are checking them. I think that is doing an extra good job and taking the extra step to ensure you get a fault free product. None of the trunnions are damaged right? You paperwork is your online invoice. Shipping them USPS also allows you to get them within 2-3 days rather than 5-7 days via FedEx.

So PLEASE get STRUAB on this thread for me and ask him how these were shipped to us.

So do about 3 or 4 vendors on here that get them in bulk too. People who actually have purchased these haven't complained.

Here is one of the vendors who do it also on their product page.

"The ONLY difference between the 129.99 LS7 Lifters we sell, and these, are the packaging. We buy these in bulk, and package them ourselves. Save $$$"

And they ship it the same way. So your point being?

If Colorado Speed is buying in bulk, then the price should be lower. I'd rather have a lower price then a fancy box.

Plus for you. We just buy lifters in bulk and sell them for less and no complaints just like the 3 or 4 other vendors do here.

And you can agree that since you like things to be "proper" that if you sell stuff here, you should be paying sponsorships fees like the rest of us, correct? Not pointing fingers LOL. Because I remember someone selling homemade tools under the radar without paying sponsorship fees and was shut down. I ordered one and lo' and behold. It wasn't "properly packaged" as you stated. Just a plain ol' box LOL.

If I could afford to pay sponsorship and had time to sit on the Internet all day I would pay. But the $150 a month I sold here didn't hurt me when you got all butt hurt and reported it.

I have a real job. This is a side job and I don't settle with 5-10% margins.

Neither do we. Our profit margin rocks! But obviously it did hurt you by reading your reply LOL.

Yep, if you had a real job you wouldn't need a "side" job LOL.
