Been researching a lot can't find exactly what i want, had a lifter go south on my within 5 miles of tuning, BTR thinks for sure that maybe some debris got in lifter or bad lifter. They sent me 7.4 pushrods, noticed they were a tad bigger than stockers, also reading that the ls7 cup is a lil taller... Anyways, Preload .082 on ls7's correct? i don't have a push rod checker, could i just get the lash out then tighten to 22lbs and say its 2 turns it would be at .100 preload, i would subtract .018 or .020 from my 7.4 push rods? Then end up with say 7.375? So then if I'm a turn till tight that would be .050 i would need to go with a 7.425? Just trying to get a definite answer, thanks in advance.
