I am working on this with a customer presently. Should be on the market in a few months in 3 different configurations. Normal deck LS, tall deck LS, and the third version that I am not quite sure about. Race only as there are no water passages. Block weighs 76 pounds when done. These pics were taken a few weeks ago. They are in heat treat right now.

 

That is a work of art, but no street version??? Come-on....

My thoughts exactly..but I'm not greedy; I'll settle for 10. If billet, just give us a couple more holes!

 

Better order the crankshaft/cam now, because it's going to take a very long time to get.

 

And the heads! Extending the block and adding a few extra cylinders is actually the easy part!

Street version? GM makes those!

 

just out of curiosity, how much do they move around from heat treat

 

Not much - maybe .01" - .02", but you cannot leave more than .125" on any finished surface to finish.
