UPDATE - Started the tear down of the top end. I will be loosening the oil pan today and removal of timing set, lifters, trays and cam. Then clean everything up to do the flycutting of the pistons.

Although your dog doesn't look too impressed, lol...I'd like to know the cam specs. I just did a LS3 topend 6.0 (231/247 .619/.624 113). In for results.

If Pat G spec'd it, it'll scream !!! What was your criteria/needs for spec'ing the cam?
What CC program did you go with on the heads? Any milling?

I'm hoping it will scream. Advanced Induction milled the heads to 64.8cc and did the 280cc program. Phil @ AI is a great guy to work with.

UPDATE It's been a long winter and a few minor set backs on the car. I didn't feel a rush to get them fixed quickly, so I took them one at a time. No real big problems just a little pain in the butt. Went from Kooks 1 3/4" headers to 1 7/8". Fixed the steering knuckle line leak. Order some speedhut gauges, finally got them installed. Installed the 4" tube with the LS3/7 maf along with the wiring harness adapter. The car would start easily but would die in about three seconds. Reinstalled the stock maf so I will able the load and unload the car on the trailer when taking it for the dyno tune. Dyno tune is schedule for April 7th at noon @ RPM Inc in Garner, NC. Chris at RPM said we can install the LS3 maf after getting down there. Will post the outcome.

UPGRADE Dyno tune was today. Final numbers are 480.96/434.37 with a SAE CF. All the parts I used came together nicely. Want to thank Phil at Advanced Inductions, Pat G for the cam and for specs I needed to shoot for. Andy Vasbinder for help with flycutting the pistons. Plus the parts I bought through Brian Tooley Racing. The build really came together.

Would you mind posting the dyno graph.
Similar cam to what is in our LS3, 231* 239* .617" .624" 113*
Heads are milled .075" and pistons flycut .100".
1 7/8" extractors and Rick Crawford manifold.

Which head gaskets are you using? You must be running high compression. What is your timing?
