Oil leak on rear of engine ??? help !

Rebuilt my ls6 and installed back into my avalanche . Immediately upon starting I had a large leak ( 1 qt. in 3 seconds) off the back of the engine. Any help will be very appreciated.

With that amount of oil, you should be able to locate where its leaking. Check rear engine cover/seal, rear of oil pan where it mates with cover, valve covers(pinched gasket),sending unit loose.,etc.,,GL

Did you remember to put the oil pressure sensor back in?
Maybe broke. Maybe way loose??

Felt around the top back of the motor and did not get oil on my fingers . Borrowed a friends inspection camera to use. Hope it is just a bolt or plug omitted . Would hate to pull it back out.

I took care when installing the rear cover and seal. I would be surprised if it were there.

Well hell ......the leak is between the block and trans inside the bell housing. Dam I'm low now. I think ill burn this thing and start driving Toyotas. There is just a seal and cover and I took my time , I cant imagine what happened.

Yeah, oil leaks are a pita. That rear cover as well as the front cover has to be well aligned with the oil pan. I followed the GM manual to the book.Lol.
