Still have a few of these kicking around!
Remember you can add these as an upgrade to our complete build kits or any other setup or add them as part of a cam kit!

Can you explain a little more about the pump and how it compares to the melling line of pumps? I purchased one from you guys and the porting looks great but just wanted to see some more insight as to why your pump over the 10295 or m295 and even the 10296.

Thanks

The 10295 and 10296 are a higher quality pump than the rpmspeed pump is in quite a few ways so there is no comparison there.
The M295 is a cast body pump and very similar to our pump BUT our ported pumps are obviously ported, but also include checking clearances inside the pump and making sure the cover is flat machined and also have low clearance bolts on the front cover to help with running dual roller setups.
We can also shim our pumps for higher bypass pressure and may offer them in a higher volume option soon. The std non ported pumps also use the same low clearance bolts and precision machined front and have shown 0 issue with needing any grinding vs a few of the other cast body pumps.
We may be offering other options soon but that's it for now. Plus our pump is less than some sell the reg m295 for.

Would it be safe to run your ported pump up to 7K with the stock spring it comes with? This would be in a street/strip drag car.

Yes. The spring in our pumps are just a little over stock pressure so you should be ok.

I'd like to report that I have the new motor in the car with the RPM ported pump and upon initial startup oil pressure was at a very impressive 58-60 psi cold and 38-40 psi fully warm at idle. While driving I'm seeing 58-60 psi at around 2000-2500rpm's. Very happy with the pump so far and feel confident that it will keep up with my 7200 rpm shift points on nitrous. Should also mention Im running Lunati 10-30 break-in oil with the Improved Racing pan baffle.
