Default Btr stage 4 ls3 piston to valve clearance

Anyone that's used the Btr stage 4 ls3 cam with stock heads have an idea what the piston to valve clearance is like?

If you are getting new heads, then the clearance you are asking about would not matter anyhow. If you are concerned about the clearance, you need to check with the new heads.

My engine is basically stock and it clears.

I guess I worded my question wrong lol. Does it clear enough to feel comfortable with stock heads? If so id feel more comfortable about it going with a set of the ls3 Trickflows with the 12 degree valves because that should allow for even more clearance shouldn't it?

This is a great cam with stock heads, but you can do a lot better with Trickflow heads and the intake you have. Contact Cam Motion. They will set you up.

If you're talking about the Stg 4 Ls3 it's 15.5 degrees.

Sounds good. I was also looking at their titan king camshaft but will see if they recommend something else

My thoughts on TFS LS3 Heads with +17* exhaust split NA.......
Terrible!
+12* is plenty NA with a good exhaust system.
I used +6* exhaust split with TFS LS3s
Talk with Cam Motion for a much better cam.
Just my opinion ....... and experience.
