Just don't hook up a fan straight to the water pump and you'll be fine.

I sure do. It is attached above the EcM on the metal post. The oil pressure looked great. 40ish PSI

Because I wanted to make sure it runs before I swap it into the car. A lot easier to fix issues and find leaks out side of the engine bay on a stand.

Nope but I did find some issues on the stand that would have been a pain to fix in an engine bay

Soccer BALL Test Stand

HI TN, my observation IS NOT to "blip" your throttle AS then your engine WILL be "crossing" YOUR garage floor like a Soccer Ball !

That’s one reason I started it up on the driveway. Since it’s washed aggregate you really got to put your back into it to move that 500 lb chunck of iron.

I dunno, Lance. Back in the 80's I built a Dyers V6-71 blown 355" powered Volvo Amazon. I ran the engine in the driveway very similar to TNSpeed's setup and was worried about it flipping over or otherwise moving around. I ended up whacking the throttle a few times with no ill results other than blowing the wife's flowerbed apart and it was 15 feet away!

Yeah when the engine started it never felt unsafe or unstable. The motor is approx. 500 lbs, and pretty low to the ground. I would think the engine would have to be horriably out of balance to make it walk or flip over.
