Default LS2/823 stainless manley valves

Hi everyone. ive got a ls2 with 823 heads on it. the guy I bought the engine from installed new manley valves. Part number 11528-8 and 11527-8. So 2 questions.

1. If these are the valves that are actually in it. what valve springs should I use with (say for now) gmpp "asa" cam?

2. do the 2.190'' intake valves seem big? They seem to fit and seal the seat pretty well.

You're only dealing with .525 lift, so nothing special needed there.

Manley's catalog says those are 3/8" stem BBC valves...

Can you post pics? I'd like to see this abortion of a cylinder head that you have.

Ok so yeah he told me the wrong valves they are the 2.165 Manley Race master ss valves. 117 g intake and 1.590 exhaust 94g. So it’s a sbe ls2. Any ptv issues if I go with a bigger cam and what valve springs should I run? The blue beehive .560 or upgrade to a double spring?

I would go with a dual spring since the valves are so heavy.

Any recommendations? I’m kinda on a budget and don’t want to spend 500 on springs. What if I did a blue beehive and swapped out the intake valves and put hollow ones in. I’ve just been doing some research.

A good dual valve spring kit for your application will run between $199 and $299.

So I took some valves out, can anyone identify them? They say Manley H0414 on the stem of the intake and H0914 on the exhaust.
