swapping an ly6 into my 00 z28.. I want to keep my ecu/harness so I will be changing the reluctor wheel to 24x do not want to use lingenfelter box. Will be purchasing reluctor wheel swap jig! There is no vvt or dod on this engine. Also will be using knock sensor,cam position sensor extenders or can I use gen 3 front cover if I swap reluctor wheel? Need help with what timing gear to use after swapped to 24x and what cam bolt pattern to use (want to run ls9 cam). Any other additional info on this swap would be awesome. Want to run ls9 cam as I will eventually be going to boost but am going to be n/a for a while. Also been trying to find out why swapping square port heads on a gen 3 6.0 yields more power than a ly6 set up? Is piston dish and head cc really make that much difference in compression?
