Default Head gasket source

Looking for sources for 058 or 060 head gaskets for build...LS3 heads on 6.0 block...trying to ensure adequate PTV clearance...using TSP 228/228 .600 lift. heads are stock deck height.
Thanks

Be sure to keep the "quench distance" as close to .040" as you can. Running more clearanace than that starts to reduce efficiency and make it more prone to detonation. I would consider .055" the max. but prefer to run it as tight as possible.

For more piston to valve, you can always advance or retard the cam. It will move the power band around a little, but at least it won't be as sensitive to timing.

.030 is considered ideal quench. But you cannot just up and run a .030 gasket on an ls engine.
You will need a 4.085 gasket to work with 821 heads on any block be it 6.0 or 6.2.
We have a few diff varieties in stock compressed thickness of .051 or we can get cometic in .045 and .040. .040 is the thinnest i would recommend on a block where piston to deck clearance is unknown. we can get .060...but that's in the wrong direction for a street build.
They start at $70 a set and go up!

Thanks for the response...I intend to use 823 Heads (don't know if that makes a difference from 821)...I have .051 gaskets that I received as part of a rebuild kit, but was cautioned that .051 was not thick enough?? Could running flattop pistons be a reason or would cam lift?

That cam will fit with those head gaskets no problem. Not sure why someone told you that.
823 and 821 are nearly the same.
