I posted this in your other thread as well.

The 3063 refers to the last 4 difits of the factory GM part number. You have an LS3 camshaft.

What's so important about the dates?

It would give him a clue as to the mfr. date of the engine it was in.

I bought a supposidily low mileage engine(117) miles and was trying to find out a little more about the truth. That's all. Figured if date was on cam in was either Nov. Last year or 2014.

So, is this a '1 bolt' or '3 bolt' cam?

This page:

https://www.onallcylinders.com/2017/...ads-cam-specs/

pretty clearly says it should be a 1 bolt.

I'm in the process of repairing a lifter failure on mine now.

I ordered the BTR Stage 2 V2, but didn't get the 3-bolt conversion.

When I looked at the block, it looked to have 3 bolt holes surrounding the cam hole. I should have grabbed a photo while I was there today.

Thanks,

-KP

ps: sorry to resurrect this, but I didn't think a new thread would be better.

Well, I guess I'll have to go back by the shop where it is.

Unless you could just tell me?

Thanks,

No way to tell from the Cam P#?

It looks to be the same one as the OP.

I thought I'd asked BTR to send the Timing Chain kit too, but it wasn't in the box so I need to get it ordered.

The heads are off getting CNC ported so I've got a minute.

Thanks,

-KP

My LS3 engine had a single bolt cam in it when I removed it. It's a 2013. Is that definitive? Probably not. But that's my experience.
