58x to 24x conversion, need help
Norris Motorsports did the install. Other than taking 1-2 seconds longer to crank the engine while it synchronized it wasn't noticeable. My experience so far is limited to ~550 miles of break in for the new motor.
There are two versions of the LPE box. I think the early versions might have had some heat soak or other issue because the current one is version two.
Ideally, changing the reluctor wheel is the best fix because there's is one less item to worry about or have issues. However, sometimes that's expensive compared to the box.
The cost to change to the EARLY 24xe MAY be GREATER than to install the correct AIR DOOR/Calibration ?
I would ASK those HERE if a DBC calibration CAN BE DONE using the ECU that came with your new engine ?

FYI, if you do change to a 24x wheel, yes you will need a "LS2" cam gear.
