It's hard to take anyone serious if they've never even heard of it, much less ridicule it. Everyone had one before smartphones; now there's online calculators.
Maybe alot of these guys dont remember or never knew but thats what caused VA Speed to leave LS1tech and other forums and i think stop making ls engines also (not certain on that part). They were part of a much larger industrial engine building company so it didnt hurt them any, but they tried putting up false dyno numbers and when the math didnt add up and people called them out on it, they cut bait and left.
Many moons ago it seems.
Thats why people dont like forums as much as fb. They can bash all they want and there is no structure and keeping track of anything on there is nearly impossible. The actual facts and real talk/questions get lost in the bashing. Or theyll just block you and **** talk behind your back. Instant gratification.
I enjoy Tech for the wealth of knowledge, back and forth rhetoric, and structure. It also helps businesses not be so shady. When you actually have to pay per month to be on here, you need to make it count. People over there slit their throat for $5 - cc fees and its all under the radar.

Believe it or not there are plenty that make such crazy claims about et and mph and try to say they make xxxx hp but their weight says otherwise. Math doesnt lie.

Glad you knew I was kidding. I hoped you were too. Its getting to be a lost art. Like doing calculus on paper. Now, they teach it on calculators but in the real world engineering has to be done without your magic hp52g. And like a lot of others, you end up memorizing your multiplication tables and patterns to save time in the field.
