Default LS builders in western Washington state?

Can any of you recommend a particular machine shop in Pierce or King counties of western Washington state? We have quite a few machine shops here but I would prefer to deal with one that has a high level of expertise in LS builds, maybe even race them themselves.

I ran SBFs for decades and always dealt with one shop, Bliss Performance. The owner of that shop drag raced SBFs for many years, he knew what to look for and how to build a lasting engine at any level of performance. Best of all, he stood behind his work.

I want to find the same for LS engines.

Thanks for any help,
Gregg

I appreciate the lead though.

There is DG (Dale Green) Machine and Heads up in Auburn but neither of those shops are LS enthusiasts.

I do realize a machine shop has to rebuild all types of engines to survive.

I used a shop for decades for my SBFs called "Bliss Performance" The owner of that shop raced SBFs for years in everything from Comp Eliminator to dragsters.. He was the local support for Bob Glidden and Ricky Smith when they raced in Seattle years ago. He built Ford engines that lived in most all powered levels and stood behind his work. He is semi retired now and I really don't want him to know I'm making the switch to the LS platform, LOL, but that's an example of what I'm looking for.

Thanks,
MC4

Speed Secrets in Monroe may be able to assist you or direct you although not a machine shop. http://www.ssefi.com/

I just looked at their web site, things have changed! I will put them at the top of my list for machine work. I'm also going to talk to the guys at Honest Performance in Federal Way, WA.

Thanks for the very good lead.

You’re welcome Gregg. Tell em Ron sent you.
I've been over there doing dyno tuning on a 6.0 single turbo setup.
