Default oil pressure

I recently changed my valve seals and pulled my intake to clean everything got it all back together and no oil pressure needle never even moved on start up. checked oil level on the stick and seemed to be pullling oil just want to make sure its ok to run for a while if its just a bad sending unit.

Maybe the connector came off the oil pressure sender at the rear of the block, just behind the intake manifold?

Either the wire got disconnected from the sender or the oil pressure sender is defective.
