It can only help keep the chambers cooler...so it's a win win..
Thought is ....is it worth it? Your the Key with your build. Ideas cost$

This is worth discussing. Perhaps your looking at this backwards Smoke. What if the coating keeps heat in the chamber, which will always make more power?

And you never answered the 265 csa and it's RPM curtain very short...= lower end tq. Added with the BS discussed only works here on sales. Real Head porters deal in CSA.
Take this BS to Any other forum..1st question is the CSA...

CFM is last and a porter designs a head CSA, around the engine size and rpm....your avg csa ..1sec.

Avg CSA is 2.89 and a 265 head with a 5.6 length runner.

A 427 and 7500 rpm = 2.94 in avg csa... Your limit is what around 7200-7300 perfect for a low lift engine and a msd...No hate. Facts. Some may say that the MSD has more rpm...yeah but check what's observed with it on and a 400cfm head has a choke hold....So $ wasted unless you out think a Hood and clearance problem...with a intake.

Some porters post Everywhere not just GM sites ....I've asked all! Your guy is into Sales not teaching..

Reason theres a YB we can discuss and argue with Facts (small & big names)..not internet BS! The cc of a head is Never discussed for a combination..it Means Nothing but Volume of a port.

Guy's start asking about CSA? Real talk. For a given combination & rpm.

I think your really into csa and that's cool but can you talk about something else. Do you have any other useful information in there with the scrambles eggs? You seem to be knowledgeable with high hp big cube stuff but you seem to be repeating the same stuff which is really killing any chance you ya have of sharing useful information and that is what your here to do right? I mean otherwise what's the point. I look forward to seeing your results regardless but add some structure to your thread so people can learn from it and see the recipe to make the hp!

I go to other forums and talk heads..seems like sales is Built on sales.. You say that yet your higgin heads list CSA not a CC number...liitle guy. The quote tells you...read it. Name them ....talked too. Even Chevelles guy.. But i do know this what's discussed about heads is Mostly BS, with No real information...Just a name of the porter, CC and cfm #....What is or was learned..besides the same conversation of: Name of the porter, CC, CFM.



MF'ers pay for a head and doesn't know what they really bought but a CFM# and the CC of the port...Get Real.

Let's get the short block done...i hate to see BS about cylinder heads...Y? Cause i had 1 made and was told the procedure and how i got what i got, not just a CNC repeated cycle of 1 size fit's all.
