Cylinder Heads - What Matters Most?

Who do you think referred this guy.....my stunt double Lil John. You do whats needed. Learned a little bit in the time...if the heads stall @ 800, get a cam with 850 lift LOL! Also if springs are for 650 lift what's the difference in a 750 lift spring. It's just $ and we no we can get more air and fuel in with larger lifts = Bigger BOOM!

Brother I just give a Engine what it wants and call it a street engine. & get Great certain parts that I no tend to break. Lifters #1 with higher lifts. As I said before Flyin and Dwill builds are race engines I'm just wanting to be a bit more respectful for street duty but in the same hp range.
Always Luv.

Disagree all you like. You can't disagree with facts, only opinions.
I never said I will make 550rwhp.
I'm hoping to get close. I have off set pins and higher lift with a 1:81 ratio which eliminates the majority of this "major" shrouding.
You need to see my dyno sheet before you judge also.
Not all of the MMS cathedral head dyno sheets I have seen were anything special either. I have seen some that were flat like a pancake and some that fell off and made less torque and hp than an LS3.
It's all in the combination.
The flattest torque curves I have ever seen were actually on CNC LS7 heads on an LS7 from RPM motorsports.
Peak torque held on all the way to the red line.
They consistently deliver great results.

I guess you never seen James Day or Coleman's car which both runs TFS cathedrals which bust alot of square port guys ***.

LS7 heads are totally different animals from a LS3 head. Thats why they are cammed differently from one another. And for the record i like Mamo but i woukd never go to him due to his prices. Katech made 640hp/555tq at the crank using LS7 heads on their 427ci. Impressive to you or not ?

You are an argumentative little bitch ain't ya?
All good
I know the TFS 245cc head is one of the fastest out there on strokers 400cid+
Brian Tooley rates them highly.
640 at the tyres or at the crank?

B its not what I think. I'm not scared to push the envelope, this is why I took my time and chose parts accordingly. My ls3 rocker arm set up isn't as great as a shaft mounted system. Yet! ER racing with the same rocker setup has more lift 800+ vs 730 and peak rpm 8800 vs 7400 to 7500. It comes down to who you work with and your goals and mindset. I'm stuck on a childhood goal and not willing to change.

You seem knowledgeable enough to give an opinion for a street setup and not a very high revving race motor you will use on the street.

Side note...young man gave me something.....Ported factory intake with 102mm TB VS Ported FAST 102mm tb intake. BS & $ go hand and glove.
Head & Cam LS3

it won't let me post the Instagram link. Ported factory intake made just as much HP and TQ throughout the rpm curve from base to the 7000 rpm peak.

It matches my flow testing of the LS3 Radius Rod intake manifold vs Ported Fast LSXR long runner almost perfect. Under .600 lift the 102 was barely worth 7 cfm at best over the trick radius rod LS3.

The fast 102mm is only a little better.
Maybe on a larger engine there might be larger differences.

So what it’s flyweight. Point is 4” bore turning 8500 rpm with that horrible shrouded valve, baby 625” lift hydraulic cam.
I race against Dustin. This isn’t some internet record lol this is actual racing.
