Default AFR 220 head porting

Anyone companies out there have a cnc program for AFR 220 heads? I have a set I'd like to have done to support a 402.

And why do you feel as cast they would not support a 402....whatever support means ?

Presumably Tony Mamo would be a first port of call.

AFR heads are ALL CNC ported from the factory. If you need more get a larger AFR head.

They will support a 402ci motor well when opened up to a 4 inch bore. Its a car on board here that made 515/475 on a mustang dyno. Send the heads to Tony Mamo to get them done.

Are we discussing LS heads because AFR never offered a 220 cc version

I have a 220 cc head for a small bore application (meaning 3.900) and AFR offered a 225 cc head awhile back that was for a 4" and larger bore

Anyway.....just shoot me a call or an email and we can figure it out from there

They did make a 220 cc head in a Gen 1 old school 23' head but something tells me that's not what we are discussing

Thanks for chiming in Tony. Hopefully the OP will keep the thread going once he has Tony port the heads.

I'm wondering which heads he actually has since AFR never made 220cc LS heads. Tony was the main man at AFR for a LOOONG time and he would know.

Apologies guys. I had all but spoken for these heads sight unseen from a friend of a friend. Upon examination, they were SBC heads, not the LS heads as advertised, so I backed out. Too bad, was a smoking price. Appreciate all the comments.
