Approaching 700hp on a mild ls3 set up? Which part of this all inclusive test is "bs"? Seemed very honest and defly not a slouch with any of the top 3 on the list. Some of those intakes will fit on alot of cars

You need to stop trolling. It's not becoming of u. The CID won plan and simple and hp gains will only go up with more hp. Also if you look @ the young man's hood .... He may have had clearance. But that's neither here nor there as he's choosen his intake. Love that test btw. Also loved seeing that a Holley with a custom pent top and 6500 wasn't much better than the MSD on Victor's 468. Did have that idea in my head but Victor shot it down and help make my decision. It was between CID and the Holley and carb top. But that's for another head setup. Super Vic 4500 for this one.

And yeah, HP gains are ALWAYS up with more HP! LOL!! SUCH logic! You are a legend in your own mind....

Go look at the difference in hp 102 LOD vs 4500 CID. Enough said. Would be more with more compression, rpm, engine size...etc

You struck, while i was striking. But thing is we all want more. Once we know more, we can get more, with better choices. I would like Everyone to get the utmost out of there combination... Hood dependant. Hell gotta go to NY after Chicago but a short stink @ home. Gotta have this Super Vic flowed with the heads attached. Ported the plenum and entry way part of the runners. Tapered and matched a 1 inch spacer for more plenum area. Port matching may be needed but we'll see.

All i want is to break into the 9's in my street truck, all motor and without stripping a bunch of weight. I think this combination will get me there. If not i will work some more overtime......lol

You've got the size...so the rpm that I said about the 421 won't be needed as much. Your 60 ft wasn't that bad either. Forgot what it was exactly. Easy $....with the cubes u got now.

Dude, relax! It was actually an honest question. Not everyone is a walking lsx encyclopedia like you. I noticed the CID won, thats y i was confused why you were dissatisfied. I just wanted to know what about that particular intake mani shootout you didnt like or agree with. Not everything has to be an arguement Smokey. Im also curious what you were referring to with 1400 vs. 400? Is that the cost of the LOD X1 and the CID? I honestly dont know

Yeah the $ difference between the LOD. ...the best question I Ever asked was answered kinda like this. .... I wanna make hp...Was told that, get a head that has good flow potential with a intake that can supply the demand. After this get a good cam as it's the brain of the operation so that we can take advantage of the potential of our good heads and intake..... i',m Not the smartest bear in the woods. But all we are doing is filling a cylinder with air and fuel. The more we can get in that hole the bigger the explosion. Our biggest problem in creating a larger bomb is the intake as it's the bottle neck in the system. The brains (our cam) doesn't know the restrictions, and does it's job. Crazy but we've got a 4 stroke bomb that goes off more often with rpm. ? is how can we make the bombing more effective and efficient. We see 370 cfm why not use all what we got. Trend I see with the better Engine combinations all makes. Zach said get a CID...he won with it. My reply was F the ls3 top end I'm not spending any $ with it. Rowdy said put me in the game... pretty please... He doesn't like my FED ls3 heads and hopes I sell them. Not gonna happen I don't sell and I keep telling him that.

If you see me talking to Rowdy (myself / heads) do not disturb, I’m having a staff meeting.

Yet look @ who I asked these ?'s, some of which you have nor will ever see here or any other forum. 64 I've had all the parts for along time. I choose to Make < (key word) a cylinder head rather than build my engine. Did that ....time to build which is being done. Your only as smart as who you talk to and use to build. I (F) with only the top 1% in this field. Some builders here I wouldn't even use to to do my DD suv or car. Overrated and overpriced with sub par results for the cost.

Just ordered 85pound injectors and my financial cushion is almost gone. Going into work more overtime in the morning.....lol
